Sunil Prasad Lohani is an Associate professor and lead Renewable and Sustainable Energy Laboratory, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Kathmandu University. He received his MSc Renewable Energy from Oldenburg University, Germany as German Academic Exchange Program (DAAD) scholar. He did PhD in bioenergy from Kathmandu University and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany as DAAD PhD Sandwich program in collaboration with University of South-Eastern Norway, Norway. Dr. Lohani research interest focused on renewable energy, energy systems, energy transition and climate change mitigation. He has completed several national and international collaborative projects and have several ongoing national and international projects funded by DAAD, Norwegian Partnership Programme for Global Academic Cooperation (NORPART), Swedish Research Council, Erasmus Plus and Academy of Finland . Dr. Lohani edited a book, Journals, published a book chapter, serves as a program committee member in a national and international conference, serves as a reviewer for several journals, and has published and presented over 60 journal and conference articles.
